Lucia Genevieve, 21, Student at O'More College of Design
What's your Nashville story?
"I moved here for school, for fashion design, but my grandparents live in Franklin and so when I used to visit it was kind of nostalgic and I have a lot of sweet memories here. It's been fun to grow into the city as an adult and as my own person. Nashville's been a great hub to nurture my interest in fashion design and my collection that I've been working on under Lucia Genevieve which is called Cynosure. It's inspired by architecture so it's very minimalistic and made out of luxurious fabrics. I wanted to create a collection that was targeted to the things women want in their closet and they want to have available to them but don't want to have to think about all the time. Something that feels effortless because all women want to achieve an effortless look, but something that is very polished at the same time. I've really felt like I've been able to delve into that in Nashville."
What is your favorite part of your outfit and why?
"My Zara suede top because it's cropped and it hits me at the perfect length because I have a long torso. It's perfect for transitioning into spring, summer and its chic."
